Studio portrait of Hugh Griffiths, of Sydney, NSW, as a young boy which appears in his In Memoriam booklet. 405 Sergeant Hugh Griffiths, 4th Battalion, was killed in action at Lone Pine, Gallipoli on 6 August 1915, aged 29. The portrait is one of three on the In Memoriam booklet which depicts Griffiths as a young boy; as a young man before enlistment; and in uniform after enlistment in August 1914.
