Embroidered badge of 9 Squadron, RAAF. In the centre is the head of an albatross and a naval crown surrounded by the words '9 SQUADRON ROYAL AUSTRALIAN AIR FORCE VIDEMUS NEC VIDEMUR VIETNAM'. The badge is surmounted by a Queen's crown.
History / Summary
Worn by A116494 Corporal Allan Herbert Greig during his service in the Vietnam War as an armament fitter with 9 Squadron from March to December 1971. This badge was worn only by members of the squadron serving in Vietnam and at the end of the war the word 'VIETNAM' was removed from the badge.
