Outdoor group portrait of seven Second World War returned servicemen in a park. Identified is NX120214 (N280013) Lance Sergeant (L/Sgt) Ronald Ian Abel, 14 Small Ships Company, who appears on the bottom row far right in the photograph. He enlisted on 26 February 1943 in Clifton Gardens, NSW. L/Sgt Abel survived the war and was discharge on the 12 July 1946. His service medals are also held by the Australian War Memorial.
