Description
Interior damage to the drivers station of an M113A1 Armoured Personnel Carrier after detonating a mine. The weld connecting the horizontal sponson to the hull side has been split apart from the detonation and the sponson has been bent upwards, allowing blast and debris to enter the driver's compartment. Debris from the blast and broken fittings are clearly visible.
