Army medic Private Mick Rossendell, of Bagdad, Tas, and Railway Estate, Qld, from 2nd Field Ambulance based in Townsville. He is a member of the Australian Army contingent of the humanitarian relief mission Operation Habitat, providing medical care to Kurds in northern Iraq, in the Gir-i-Pit region north of the city of Dahuk.
