Informal portrait of NX38716 Private (Pte) Royston Cecil Stevens, 2/12 Field Ambulance, Australian Army Medical Corps, of Revesby, NSW, standing outside a camp building. Pte Stevens enlisted on 14 July 1941. He died whilst a prisoner of war of the Japanese on 20 February 1942 in Ambon, Indonesia, aged 24.
