Studio portrait of 403599 Sergeant (Sgt) Creighton Carlyle Ogilvie of Gunnedah, NSW. Enlisting in the RAAF in February 1941 and training as a pilot, Sgt Ogilvie flew Wellington bombers with the 26th Operation Training Unit, RAF. He was shot down by a German night figher and killed over Overhetfeld, Germany, on 11 September 1942, age 23.
