Wing Commander David Evans, Commanding Officer of No 2 Squadron (right) talking to Colonel Frank Gayler, Commander of the USAF's 35th Tactical Fighter Wing (centre) and an unidentified USAF officer (left). The group of commanders are standing under the nose of an F100D Super Sabre of 614 Tactical Fighter Squadron (VP) on the tarmac at Phan Rang, the home of the USAF’s 35th Tactical Fighter Wing, as the wing celebrates 75,000 operational sorties flown in Vietnam. This is an original print made in Vietnam by RAAF Public Relations photographer Flying Officer Alexander (Alex) Gall.
