Hand coloured studio portrait of NX22614 Private (Pte) Clarence Noel Sharp of Kingsford, NSW. Enlisting in the Second AIF in May 1940, Pte Sharp saw service with the 2/17 Battalion in the Middle Eastern campaign. He was killed in action during the battle at El Alamein on 28 October 1941, age 24.
