Informal portrait of NX13343 Private (Pte) Alfred Henry Kerr of Wiangaree, NSW. Enlisting in the Second AIF in April 1940, Pte Kerr served with the 2/2 Battalion in the Middle East and Pacific campaigns. He was killed in action at Templeton’s Crossing on the Kokoda Track on 20 October 1942, age 29.
