Studio portrait of NX136959 Private (Pte) John Milton Napier 2/27 Battalion, of Quandialla, NSW. Formerly an assistant farm hand, Pte Napier enlisted at Bunnoo, NSW, on 15 November 1942 and served in New Guinea, where he was killed in action on 13 October 1943, aged 21.
