Portrait of 4537 Private (Pte) Donald Kelly, 11th Battalion, of Holyoake, WA. Formerly a mill hand, Pte Kelly enlisted on 18 November 1915 and as a member of the 14th Reinforcements he embarked from Fremantle, WA, aboard HMAT Miltiades (A28) on 12 February 1916. He served on the Western Front and he was killed in action in Belgium on 21 September 1917, aged 34 years.
