Description
A memorial card incorporating a portrait of 4319 Private (Pte) Emil Henry Janetzki, 1st Australian Pioneers, of Murtoa, Victoria. A labourer prior to enlistment, he embarked from Melbourne with the 1st Pioneer Battalion aboard HMAT Suevic on 21 June 1917. Pte Janetzki was killed in action by artillery fire in France on 13 July 1918, aged 22.
