Description
Souvenir program for a theatrical performance during the First World War. This program is for a performance of Shakespeare's play 'Macbeth', at the Royal Victoria Hall in London from Monday 21 October 1918. Included in the program are producers notes detailing the history of performances and background to this production. In this performance, Macbeth was played by Ernest Milton and Gwen Richardson appeared as Lady Macbeth. The program has been signed by Edward White Moncrieff of the 45th Battalion, Australian Imperial Force.
