Outdoor portrait of VX675 Bombardier (Bdr) Lionel Allen Caldwell, 2/2 Field Regiment, Royal Australian Artillery, of Fitzroy, Vic. Formerly a textile worker, Bdr Caldwell enlisted at East St Kilda, Vic, on 25 October 1939 and served in Greece, where he was killed in action on 23 April 1941, aged 23.
