Studio portrait of 6016 Private (Pte) John Bede Fitzpatrick, 3rd Battalion of Brocklehurst via Dubbo, NSW. A farmer prior to enlistment, he embarked with the 19th Reinforcements on HMAT Wiltshire (A18) on 22 August 1916. On 9 April 1917, Pte Fitzpatrick was killed in action, aged 34.
