Studio portrait of S4701, Stoker (Sto) Henry Arthur Apps, HMAS Cerberus, of Mascot, NSW. Sto Apps enlisted on 14 October 1940 and later served with HMAS Parramatta II. He was killed in action on 27 November 1941, when HMAS Parramatta II was sunk in the Mediterranean Sea by the German submarine U-559. He was aged 19.
