Studio portrait of 402954 Flying Officer (FO) Geoffrey Wyndham Rose, RAAF, 92 Squadron RAF. A grazier from Dalgety, NSW, FO Rose enlisted on 11 November 1940. He was killed in action on 8 January 1943, aged 22, on operations in the Middle East, and is buried at Tripoli War Cemetery.
