Studio portrait of 16687 Petty Officer (PO) Bernard Frank Biram, of Coogee, NSW. A career sailor who had enlisted in the RAN in June 1925, PO Biram was a cook on aboard HMAS Sydney II when she was sunk by the German auxiliary cruiser Kormoran off the coast of Western Australia on 20 November 1941. He was aged 35 years.
