Memorial card incorporating a studio portrait of 6291 Private (Pte) Ernest Bullock, 23rd Battalion, of Oakleigh, Vic. A farmer at Garfield, Vic, prior to enlistment, Pte Bullock embarked with the 18th Reinforcements from Melbourne on HMAT Hororata on 23 November 1916. On 4 October 1918 he was killed in action in France, aged 23.
