Description
Souvenir program related to theatrical performances during the First World War and the period when troops were waiting to return to Australia. This program is for a production of the play 'Peg O' My Heart', performed at the Globe Theatre in London during 1916. This program features advertisements for Johnny Walker whiskey, Guinness, cigarettes and other bar refreshments. The front cover has been annotated with the comment 'Saw this during my 4 days leave, very good, went in the 7/6 stalls.'
