Studio portrait of WX22774 Private (Pte) Keith Charles Christmass DCM, 2/24 Battalion, of Northam, WA. Pte Christmass enlisted at Claremont, WA on 15 February 1944. He died of wounds in Borneo on 31 May 1945. He was posthumously awarded the Distinguished Conduct Medal for his 'conspicuous bravery and devotion' south of Droop in May 1945.
