Studio portrait of SX10061 Private (Pte) Colin Lindsay Beaton, 2/2 Reserve Motor Transport Company, Australian Army Service Corps, of Tantanoola, SA. Pte Beaton enlisted at Adelaide, SA, on 7 August 1940 and served in Malaya. He was captured by the Japanese in January or February 1942 and died of illness on 14 May 1944.
