Studio portrait of 3359 Private (Pte) Clyde Thomas Pickett, 46th Battalion, of Traralgon, Vic (standing, back row), an unidentified Australian army nurse (seated) and an unidentified member of the 46th Battalion (seated, right). A motor mechanic before enlisting in September 1917, Pte Pickett left Australia for France with the 8th Reinforcements in February 1918, and arrived in France in July 1918. He was was killed in action during the 46th Battalion's attack on the Hindenburg outpost line near Bellenglise on 18 September 1918, aged 19.
