Studio portrait of 1775 Private (Pte) Roderick Campbell, 60th Battalion, of Warrnambool, Vic. A dairyman before enlisting on 27 July 1915, Pte Campbell embarked on HMAT Port Lincoln with the 2nd Reinforcements on 4 May 1916. He was transferred to the 58th Battalion on 10 September 1916. He was wounded in action at Bullecourt on 10 May 1917, and admitted to the Third Casualty Clearing Station. He died of his wounds there on 13 May 1917.
