Studio portrait of S4746 Stoker (STO) William Roy Chapman, HMAS Penguin, of Sydney, NSW. STO Chapman was killed in action on 20 November 1941, aged 20 , when the ship on which he was serving, HMAS Sydney II, was sunk in the Indian Ocean by the German auxiliary cruiser Kormoran.
