Studio portrait of NX29516 Gunner (Gnr) Charles Jackson Cameron, 2/9th Field Regiment. Gnr Cameron enlisted on 10 June 1940, was discharged on 1 March 1943, and joined the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) two days later. As 434868 Pilot Officer (PO) CJ Cameron RAAF, an air gunner with 467 Squadron RAAF, he was shot down and presumed killed during a raid on the Dortmund-Ems Canal, Germany, on 3 March 1945.
