Description

Hand-coloured, black-and-white studio portrait of NX16332 Corporal Clive Charles Swaysland, 2/13th Battalion AIF. A station hand from Tumut, NSW, Swaysland served with the 21st Light Horse Regiment (Riverina Horse) prior to joining the AIF in May 1940. After serving in the Middle East he was killed in action at Finschhafen, New Guinea on 28 September 1943.
