Studio portrait of 2891 Private (Pte) (later Lance Corporal (L/Cpl)) Arthur Engle Greenham, 16th Battalion (later 48th Battalion), and his fiancee, Jessie Muriel Lyon. A farmer of Badjering via Dowerin, WA, prior to enlisting on 23 July 1915, L/Cpl Greenham embarked from Fremantle on HMAT Hororata with the 9th Reinforcements on 5 October 1915. He was killed in action in France on 6 August 1916, and is buried in Serre Road Cemetery No. 2.
