Description
Studio portrait of 545 Trooper (Tpr) John Lauder, 1st Light Horse Regiment, of Guyra NSW. A farmer prior to enlistment, Tpr Lauder embarked on HMAT Star of Victoria (A16) on 20 October 1914. He was killed in action at Pope's Hill, Gallipoli on 7 August 1915. He was 33 years of age.
