Studio portrait of QX33947 Sergeant (Sgt) Preston Gavin Greenlees, 15th Infantry Battalion (Oxley Regiment), of Beenleigh, Queensland. Prior to his enlistment on 19 September 1941, Sgt Greenlees was employed as a bank officer. On 8 September 1943 he was killed in action in New Guinea, aged 23.
