Cropped group portrait of VX39046 Warrant Officer Class 1(WO1) Henry Heath Lillystone Waters, of Abbotsford, Vic. Enlisting in the Second AIF in November 1940, WO1 Waters served in the Pacific campaign with the 2/29 Battalion. He was captured at Parit Sulong in January 1942, and died of illness whilst a prisoner of war (POW) in Siam on 9 November 1943, aged 27.
