Illuminated memorial portrait of 7008 Private (Pte) Arthur Edward Ernest Moore, 2nd Battalion, of Condobolin, NSW. A labourer before enlisting on 23 October 1916, Pte Moore embarked from Sydney on HMAT Benalla on 9 November 1916 with the 23rd Reinforcements. He was killed in action in Belgium on 8 November 1917, at the age of 24.
