Studio portrait of 406992 Flight Sergeant (Flt Sgt) Alfred William (Bill) Buxton of Subiaco, WA. Flt Sgt Buxton enlisted on 21 June 1941 and trained as a pilot. He was posted to 103 Squadron RAF at Leicester, England. He died as a result of an accident at Leicester on 8 September 1943, aged 23.
