The Parment Wood near La Houssaye
Description
Depicts a lush and green woodland. In the foreground is dense shrubbery and flowers, suggesting it is either spring or summer. A road leads from the bottom left corner into the centre of the wood, on either side is rural land. To the left is a row of telegraph poles suggestive of the nearby La Houssaye referenced in the title. Above the wood are two aircraft flying against a blue sky dappled with crisp white clouds.
