Studio portrait of SX2035 Acting Sergeant (A/Sgt) Colin Lawder Young of Glenelg, SA. A warehouse assistant before enlisting in March 1940, A/Sgt Young served with the 2/10 Battalion in the Middle East and Pacific Campaigns. He was killed in action at Buna, New Guinea, on 26 December 1942, aged 22.
