Studio portrait of SX33981 Captain Robin Archibald Burston who was a 24 year old from Adelaide, South Australia when he joined the Militia Forces on 25 November 1941 and the Army on 15 January 1945. He was serving with the 20th Field Ambulance when he was discharged on 16 January 1948. One of 86 photographs displayed on an honour board showing members of the Adelaide Rowing Club who enlisted for active service in the Second World War. The original is held by the Adelaide Rowing Club who kindly loaned the board to the Australian War Memorial for copying.
