Studio portrait of 437787 Leading Aircraftman (LAC) Thomas Bruce Hamilton who was a 23 year old assistant production manager from Adelaide, South Australia when he enlisted in the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) on 27 March 1943. He was killed in an accident on 21 April 1944 at No 1 Service Flying Training School, Royal Canadian Air Force, Borden, Canada and is buried in the Barrie Union Cemetery, Canada. One of 86 photographs displayed on an honour board showing members of the Adelaide Rowing Club who enlisted for active service in the Second World War. The original is held by the Adelaide Rowing Club who kindly loaned the board to the Australian War Memorial for copying.
