Studio portrait of 48464 Leading Aircraftman Maurice Henry Worley who was born in St Peters, South Australia on 20 January 1913. After serving in the Army as a Private (service number S30537) from 5 March 1941 until 18 May 1942, he then served in the Royal Australian Air Force from 19 May 1942 until 7 December 1945. One of 86 photographs displayed on an honour board showing members of the Adelaide Rowing Club who enlisted for active service in the Second World War. The original is held by the Adelaide Rowing Club who kindly loaned the board to the Australian War Memorial for copying.
