Studio portrait of SX4562 Private John Hansborough Dutton who was a 34 year old from Mount Gambier, South Australia when he joined the Army on 7 June 1940. He was serving with the 9th Australian Division when he was demobilised on 31 January 1944. One of 86 photographs displayed on an honour board showing members of the Adelaide Rowing Club who enlisted for active service in the Second World War. The original is held by the Adelaide Rowing Club who kindly loaned the board to the Australian War Memorial for copying.
