Studio portrait of SX15588 Lieutenant Jack Carlin Williams who was a 28 year old from Leabrook, South Australia when he joined the Army on 20 December 1941. When he was demobilised on 13 December 1945 he was serving with the 2/9 Armoured Regiment. One of 86 photographs displayed on an honour board showing members of the Adelaide Rowing Club who enlisted for active service in the Second World War. The original is held by the Adelaide Rowing Club who kindly loaned the board to the Australian War Memorial for copying.
