Studio portrait of 419815 Flight Lieutenant Colin Edward Runge who was a 29 year old from Glenelg, South Australia when he joined the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) on 2 January 1943. He was serving at RAF Gamston when he was demobilised on 26 February 1946. One of 86 photographs displayed on an honour board showing members of the Adelaide Rowing Club who enlisted for active service in the Second World War. The original is held by the Adelaide Rowing Club who kindly loaned the board to the Australian War Memorial for copying.
