Studio portrait of Lieutenant James Irvine Graham 25th Battalion. Lieutenant Graham, a fruit grower from NSW, enlisted on 27 March 1916 and embarked from Sydney aboard HMAT Ormonde on 2 March 1918. He was severely wounded in action in France on 2 September 1918 and transferred to the 26th Battalion in October, probably for administrative purposes. Still recovering, he returned to Australia on 8 November 1918.
