Studio portrait of 4424 Private (Pte) William Bertram Hanna, 26th Battalion, of South Yarra, Vic. A railway porter before enlisting on 12 October 1915, Pte Hanna embarked from Brisbane on HMAT Star of Victoria on 30 March 1916 with the 11th Reinforcements. He died of wounds received at Bullecourt on 27 April 1917. He was 19 years old.
