Studio portrait of 420300 Flying Officer (FO) Thomas Temperley, a pilot of No. 43 Squadron RAAF. Born in Vancouver, Canada, PO Temperley enlisted with the RAAF on 11 October 1941. While conducting offensive operations against Japanese fishing in the Ambon area, PO Temperley was listed as missing, presumed killed on operations on 20 July 1944, aged 27.
