Studio portrait of S/9682 Ordinary Seaman (OS) Charles Reginald Lupton, HMAS Rushcutter, of Bondi Junction, NSW. A grocer's assistant prior to enlistment in September 1944, OS Lupton served on HMAS Yandra. On 16 April 1945, he died of an intestinal obstruction at HMAS Rushcutter Naval Base in Sydney. He was 19 years of age.
