Studio portrait of QX6442 Temporary Major (T/Maj) Alfred Henry Murray of Kangaroo Point, Qld. Enlisting in the Second AIF in October 1940, T/Maj Murray served with the 2/15 Field Company, Royal Australian Engineers. He was discharged from the army in October 1945 and died of a war related illness on 22 June 1946, aged 35.
