Outdoor portrait of S/4285 Able Seaman (AB) John Albert Curtis Allison, HMAS Sydney II, of Granville, NSW. AB Allison enlisted on 9 July 1940 and he was killed in action on 20 November 1941, aged 19, when HMAS Sydney was sunk off the coast of Western Australia, with the loss of all hands, by the German raider Kormoran.
