Pre war studio portrait of 695 Lance Corporal (L/Cpl) Ronald Ross, C Company, 24th Battalion, of Richmond Plains, Wedderburn, Vic. Formerly a bank clerk, L/Cpl Ross enlisted on 20 March 1915 and he embarked from Melbourne, Vic, aboard HMAT Euripides (A14) on 10 May 1915. He served on the Western Front where he was killed in action on 14 November 1916.
