Studio portrait of 2459 Private (Pte) Reginald Port, 56th Battalion, of Wagga Wagga, NSW. A labourer prior to enlistment on 15 February 1916, Pte Port embarked from Sydney aboard HMAT Aeneas (A 60) on 30 September 1916 with the 5th Reinforcements. On 14 May 1917, he died of wounds received at the Second Battle of Bullecourt, aged 22.
